Despite being sick, this week was better then expected for the most part.

Thursday James and Kia were going to check out the remodeled Sunset Station buffet, so Brandon and I tagged along. It really wasn't much different. I think it was just an excuse to jack the prices up. They just re-arranged stations for the most part. But the food quality was much higher and it was good. We'll see how long that lasts.

Ended up skipping Resurrection and chilled at home. I didn't miss it.

Friday was a good day. I was feeling better for the most part, just stupid congestion. Got home from work, changed, and headed back out with Brandon to the big poker game. 16 people split in 2 tables. It was pretty fun. Of course I couldn't catch a break and I ended up being the last one knocked out before they joined the 2 tables for the final 8 people. Brandon did good and ended up being #3, though if he was just giving his money away at the end.

After poker we stopped back at the apartments and changed for the club then grabbed some food at Blueberry Hill. Krave was fun as usual. But it seemed a bit slower then last week and Josh's set kept having problems because of his stupid laptop. Barnaby had this crazy DVD playing on the monitors. It was some fucked up battle bots type of shit, only much bigger and with dead animals, fire, and explosions.

Saturday I just listened to new music and watched tv until everyone met up at Chilis for dinner. Killed some more time after dinner and went to City Lights. Wow, that place was fucking dead early on. Then there were some big sound problems that Pierre and Chris had to put up with. Everything seemed to get worked out though and the place quickly filled. So the night was fun. Chris spun a mostly ebm set featuring alot of the new tracks and the response was not very good. Stupid fucks. There seems to be no difference between Thursday and Saturdays music selections anymore. Oh well. After the club Brandon and I went to PT's for some food. Thats about it.

Sunday was all about football. Pittsburgh and Seattle beat down Denver and Carolina. Add in some tv watching and a trip to Jason's Deli and that was my Sunday. No complaints there.

Few little random comments to make:

Out of the new albums from Mesh, De/Vision, and Covenant...Mesh's is easily the best. I'm not sure what to make of the other 2 yet, but I'm digging the new Mesh quite a bit.

Wow, Kobe Bryant scored 81 points last night. Who cares. All that says to me is he's still a selfish dick who is trying to carry his team all by himself. For all the shots he takes it was only a matter of time before he got that high of a game. Too bad the Lakers are 22-19. I'd rather see my team be 33-5 and everyone average 20 points. =)

I think its pretty much settled that there will be a trip to LA on President's Day weekend.

Oh and they posted the opening act info for the NIN show in April. How hugely disappointing.

Fuck Saul Williams ghetto spoken word. I'm not even going to get into his anti-war sentiment, and his stupid war for oil bullshit. This guy sucks. Period. I didn't like his other stuff either.
